Viewing the Universe from Tullyculliff Lane

            High on a ridge line of
            Tullyculliff Lane, Among the
            rolling hills of Monaghan
            fields and hedgerows spread
            far and wide, some green,
            some yellow, some tan but
            mostly the greenest of green
            seeping like rain into
            farmers’ dreams while
            clouds of time go gliding by.
