Submission Guidelines

Naturewriting.com’s purpose is to explore and celebrate the ways the natural world inspires, instructs, and challenges its human members.
It is an online place for you to share with others your writing about nature and to receive responses from others about your writing. Its mission is to become an online community of encouragement for people who love nature and writing.
You are invited to submit poems, stories, essays, observations, journal entries, quotations, ideas for writing, reviews of books you've read, and anything else you'd like to share with others. Your submission will be placed in the appropriate section of naturewriting.com and will stay there at least three months. Of course, it can be removed at any time upon your request.
There is no charge or payment for placing your writing on this site. Anyone may submit poems, stories, essays, experiences, and observations for consideration. However, some submissions may not be accepted. Writing which does not meet naturewriting.com’s purpose will be returned with comments.
All submissions must be unpublished elsewhere. The author retains all rights and must notify naturingwriting.com of publication of submitted material by any other site or publisher.
I hope you will submit your writing. The site is just beginning. I'm looking forward to reading your work and sharing our visions of nature together.
